We spent the last night in a bungalow at a campsite. We enjoyed the beautiful weather on the terrace until the mosquitoes drove us indoors.
This morning we set off towards Tyndrum under a clear sky. We had to hike 20 km.
We walked along the slope of the Falloch Valley, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and passages along the Falloch River with rapids and waterfalls. The scenery changed from time to time and we went from the meadows of the plateau to a forest with pines and larches. Later, we also passed through heathland at the end of today's tour.
It was sunny almost all day. But Scotland reminded us that we always have to expect different weather. We got caught in a shower just before reaching our destination. That's how it is in the Highlands.
We have now completed four out of eight stages and have already enjoyed more than half (about 85 km) of the entire route. It has been great so far.
Now off to the BERGFEST pub!
