Today, after breakfast, we took a short drive to the mall with our car. There, we got ourselves a prepaid card so that we can have cheap internet and make phone calls in between. Afterwards, we set off for our almost five-hour drive to Sabie. After overcoming a traffic jam caused by a police check (we were allowed to simply pass through as a few others), we made good progress. During a quick bathroom break, we were able to see some animals like zebras from a distance. We later took a break in Dullstroom, where we enjoyed delicious Belgian waffles. Then we entered the hilly to mountainous area. We had great viewpoints and kept running into the same four tourists. Upon arrival in Sabie, we were welcomed by two very nice Swiss hosts. We got great rooms and a lot of information. We were sent directly to the next brewery. There, we also had a very delicious litchi liqueur. After that, we went to eat and were able to sit on the terrace of the restaurant. Sabie is also safe in the dark and free of mosquitoes and malaria. Now we are looking forward to the next morning. If the weather is good, we can have breakfast outside and then head out to the Panorama Route. Wishing you all a nice fourth Sunday of Advent.
