After welcoming a new crew member last year, he/she was lovingly prepared for the family hobby through a 50-week training. Finally, the cold, dark, wet season is coming. Is there a better time to chase the sun? Not for us :)
Our destination is again New Zealand. Unfortunately (or luckily?), there are no direct flights there (that would only be about 24h flight time). So we are allowed to make one or the other 'stopover' until we arrive there... we start with a little hop to Manchester and then fly over the big pond with a lot of momentum.
(we need a lot of momentum because we are now a family of four and Papa's co-pregnancy is still clearly visible a year after delivery....)
Anyway... such a trip should be well planned. So we made a little checklist:
- Passports available
- Plane tickets partially available
- Accommodations a few booked
- Friends who could 'visit' us could be more
A good checklist is very clear. We've already managed that before :) And if anyone feels like going on vacation, we're always happy to have visitors :)
