Check in for our ferry to Sicily is from 3:00 p.m. At 11:00 a.m. we leave both our accommodation and our dear hosts. We pass the time with a detour to Pula and on the way back we make a second unsuccessful attempt to see flamingos up close. Then it's time to visit the ferry terminal, where quite a few motorbikes and other vehicles have already lined up. The 3rd track is free and we'll take it. A short time later we can park our bumblebee in a small niche on the ferry and go to our cabin. It should be noted that I have never had such unfriendly and scowling staff on a crossing as the Grimaldi line. Maybe that's why they were in such a bad mood because they hadn't managed to clean the cabins in time - that's our impression. When the ferry left the sheltered harbour, things got uncomfortable on the upper deck and we retired to the restaurant, where I quietly wrote down my travel report. On the open sea, our ferry runs as if on a rail - we have an absolutely smooth sea - that saves me from having to take the VOMEX A with me. Today we don't take too long, because the ferry will dock in Palermo at 5:00 a.m. Have a good one - see you tomorrow!
