I woke up at 2 and chilled until just before 3. Then I left my suitcase at the reception and rang the bell 5 times until he woke up. Then I waited a few minutes and then the transport came. We picked up a few more people and then it took 3 hours to get to our destination. I was able to sleep for the first 2 hours and then I was awake. When we arrived we went to breakfast, which was quite simple. There was a small portion of scrambled eggs, rolls, butter, jam, coffee, tea and a warm juice. It was OK. For the entire trip, the two days plus 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 dinner you paid €60. Then we continued and had to pay another 70 soles (approx. €18) to go hiking in the natural area. Then we went to a viewing point where there were other tourists. The view was really phenomenal and you could also see big birds called Conors or something like that. We were able to spend almost 40 minutes there. Afterwards we went to another place where we were able to briefly explore the area. There were locals there who had alpacas with sunglasses that you could take photos with. But I don't support that. Then we moved on, where the group was divided and the hike began. Some had a 3 day hike, which is the same route as ours, but in 3 days and not 2 days. And then some had only booked a tour. We then set off with our guide. We were 9 people. And first it was 6km more and less downhill. It was pretty tiring, also because it was so hot. But the good thing is that everyone could go at their own pace. The path was well signposted with arrows or there was no other option. And in principle I could have booked the trip completely on my own. I would have only had to take care of the journey myself. The good thing was that I had a good hiking pace and apart from one in the front I was at peace. Although it wasn't wet from the rain, each of us slipped on the stones several times, but everyone made it without falling. At the bottom of a bridge everyone took a break. There I also started talking to a few people from my group. Afterwards we went up another 1 kilometer and then had lunch, which was ok. There was soup and then rice, chips and a meat and pepper mix. Drinks were not included and could be purchased for expensive money. It was ok and you have something in your stomach, but I never go there myself. After that it was almost 5 kilometers flat and at the end downhill to the village where we had our accommodation. The path was also a bit slippery again and at first we walked together and our guide explained something about a plant here and there. In general he did his job well, but I wouldn't book it like that again. When we arrived at the accommodation there was also a problem. Half of the group had walked ahead and we ended up standing in a garden of a hotel where we had waited for 40 minutes. Nobody had our guide's number. But then it came from another side. That was also rather suboptimal. When we arrived at the accommodation we also had a surprise. There was a pool, but otherwise it looked like a dump. There were small huts, but they were neither clean nor insulated. So it was really quality like in Ethiopia. At least I had a single room, although that's not entirely true. There were at least 5 spiders on the wall and when I opened my duvet, a spider crawled away. That can be cheerful. Luckily, I'm used to a lot of hiking on the Way of St. James. That's why I went straight to the pool because the sanitary facilities are in need of renovation, to say the least. It started to rain and I went to my hut for a moment. Then I sat at the bar and chatted with others for a bit. The hike was strenuous, but we would really be rewarded with the beautiful views. Then there was dinner at 7 p.m. As a starter there was a soup with noodles and potatoes, which was tasty and as a main course there was rice with sauce and a choice of chicken or potatoes for the vegetarians. I probably got a plate of potatoes, but that wasn't bad at all. It was tasty and when we were finished, hot water was put out and tea was served for dessert. So I have nothing against simple accommodation, but for the price I would have expected a little more. There was also water in the hostel. A 1 liter bottle costs 10 soles or €2.50. A large beer from the bottle cost 17 soles (approx. €4.25), which is quite a steep price for a place like this. I then went into the room and wanted to sleep, but that didn't quite work out. I didn't want to use the blanket anymore. So I went to bed with long pants, socks, shirt and jacket and chilled out a bit. The next day it should start at 5 a.m. The hike itself was really nice, but everything around it wasn't that great and my group is a little strange. But well, I tried to sleep and fell asleep around 10 p.m
