What a cultural change! From the 'cool modernity' to the vibrant city of Sydney. Not only is the climate completely different, but also the atmosphere. The heart of Sydney beats loudly, and you feel comfortable from the first day.
Of course, our first destination was the famous Sydney Opera House. You can't see much from the land, so it's back to Circular Quay and find a suitable ferry.
We had already chosen an interesting destination on the map: Watsons Bay. We didn't know what to expect there.
First, here are the impressions of the Opera House and the skyline (mostly from the ferry):
Sydney Opera HouseCircular QuaySydney Skyline Watsons Bay greeted us with a small, adorable beach and a few small restaurants right on the pier. We wanted to explore the area a bit more and headed to the Hornsby Lighthouse. The path was beautiful, lined with several coves, including a nudist beach. And there were always magnificent views of the city and the sea. The view blew us away! You can see the result as the new header image above. A small hiking trail led along the cliffs, which we followed further. Tasman Sea It was just great. What an unforgettable first day in Sydney. This city is incredibly diverse. And there are also a few birds here :-) SeagullSeagullsBird with Lighthouse
