My time in Vancouver is over now.
With my cousin Sarah, who visited me from Germany for two weeks, I was in Seattle for a few days and ticked America off my bucket list. My last days in Western Canada were spent with some colleagues on one of the countless islands in the south of Vancouver, Saturna Island. With plenty of beer, sauna, and board games, we enjoyed ourselves in a cabin in the woods. By the way, in the summer there are 300 people living on this gigantic island, but in the winter there are only 12.
Afterwards, I spent 10 days in my new home, Toronto, on the east coast of Canada, where I searched for a job and accommodation for the next few months. I've already found a nice room in the Old Town of Toronto, but I'm still looking for a job.
Currently, I'm in the Dominican Republic enjoying some sunny days after being surprised by -20°C temperatures and snowstorms in Toronto in early March.
