Today is my last day in Krabi before heading to Phuket province tomorrow. So, I thought I should enjoy the beach one last time :) After breakfast, I went to Ao Nang and then got on a longtail boat to the famous Railay Beach. It's a peninsula surrounded by limestone cliffs, making it reachable only by waterway.
At noon, I ventured into the jungle to reach a viewpoint. On top, I was rewarded with a breathtaking view and got to admire climbers scaling the steep limestone cliffs. It reminded me of my climbing course in Gießen, where we climbed a 14m high bunker in nice weather. When I reached the top, with a slight breeze, I froze in fear and couldn't move for a while. And here, on a natural mountainside, at a higher height than 14m, I see people climbing. I find that very admirable, especially since there are no handholds on this wall 😂 But don't worry, I don't think I'll ever have the courage to do something like that :)
