Jamaica - Day 6 - Monkey Island, Blue Lagoon, and Frenchman's Cove

To start the day off right, we treated ourselves to a nice jam bread breakfast.

The day before, we made plans with the other two Germans, Jule and Biene, to meet at Blue Lagoon. Since it is about 10 km outside of Port Antonio, we took a route taxi there for about €1.50 per person.

Once we arrived at Blue Lagoon, we decided to take a motorboat ride along the coast and to Monkey Island.

According to our motorboat driver, there are many villas of stars, such as Will Smith, along the coast. However, we were skeptical. Overall, the coast is very beautiful to see.

Afterwards, the motorboat driver dropped us off at Monkey Island where we spent about 1 hour swimming until we were picked up again. Since it was Jule's birthday that day, we toasted with a 'Real Vibes Party Vine' on Monkey Island. It was very relaxing and had a beautiful landscape. A scene from the movie 'Knight and Day' with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz was also filmed at this beach.

Afterwards, we went swimming in Blue Lagoon and enjoyed the rest of the day.

We spent the afternoon at Frenchman's Cove. Although there is an entrance fee for the beach, it is definitely worth the money. Like paradise!

We ended the day at a rooftop bar in Port Antonio.
