Wellington ist mit 173 Tagen Wind die windigste Stadt Neuseelands. Dies hatte mir auch eine Backpackerin in Wanganui berichtet. Jetzt ratet mal. Mein erster Tag hier war der windstillste Tag auf meiner ganzen bisherigen Reise! Es waren 22 Grad, sonnig und einfach nur schön :D. Dementsprechend hat mir Wellington super gut gefallen. Der Hafen ist toll gestaltet, mit vielen Cafés und Restaurants und Plätzen zum relaxen. Allerdings am 2. Tag dann habe ich Wellington richtig erlebt. Es war so windig, dass man richtig kämpfen musste, um vorwärts zu kommen. Ich bin froh, dass ich zuvor einen so tollen Tag erwischt habe.
