Welcome back!

My February was amazing. On the first weekend, I flew to Orlando, Florida with a friend. We enjoyed the warmth and sun and explored the city for two days. The following weekend, I traveled to Quebec, Canada with many other au pairs. The city is beautiful! We also visited the amazing Ice Hotel, where you can actually rent a room made entirely of ice. There was even a wedding happening there that evening. It was -22°C in Quebec that weekend! I had never experienced such cold weather and seen so much snow before. It was an unforgettable experience!

At the end of February, my mom finally came to visit me! I picked her up at the airport in New York on Friday evening and we stayed at one of her former host children's apartment in Manhattan. On Saturday, we walked across the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges and through Times Square. We went to the Top of the Rock to see New York during the Golden Hour and at night from above. The view was breathtaking! The next morning, we went up to the Rockefeller Center again to enjoy the view during daylight. After that, we took a touristy walk through Central Park with a hot dog.

During the following week, my mom helped me with work here in Westwood. It was so great to see her again after six months!
