The first day after the first night

Guys, guys, I should have skipped the espresso after the pizza last night 😵‍💫 I was still in top shape until after midnight. I slept well on the air mattress, even though it wobbled so much that sometimes I thought I was on the houseboat with the girls 😀 I only started to feel cold at 7am because my air mattress let out air. That's not the point of an air mattress! 😤 And my nose was constantly cold. Do all campers have that? Probably not. So there's still room for improvement when it comes to sleeping in terms of comfort, but otherwise I'm happy.

Today the sun is shining and I'm continuing my journey. I already have an idea 😋 I want to drive across the sea. Yes, that's possible 👏 The distance from Lelystad to Enkhuizen is 33 km and takes about 30 minutes. That was really cool. Since I'm tired from the short night, I head straight for the next campsite: in Alkmaar . I'm booking two nights here💪 I prepare my bed, grab my e-bike and explore the area. Alkmaar is quite big. The sun is shining and the street cafés are full. Really beautiful 😋 But since it's cold, I'm glad I decided to wear a scarf and hat. There's a cheese market here on Fridays. I definitely want to visit it on Friday.
