First Time Washington DC

At the end of my first 'real' week, I went to Washington DC. The first working days were ok, Gerry was a little confused about the situation but it was better on Thursday. I took the bus from home, my host dad gave me his bus card. At the metro station I got my own bus and metro card and I took the metro to get into Washington DC. At first I visited the Capitol.

Am Ende der ersten 'richtigen' Woche bin ich nach Washington gefahren. Die ersten Arbeitstage waren ok. Die neue Situation hat Gerry ein bisschen verwirrt, aber das wurde am Donnerstag besser. Von Zuhause hab ich den Bus genommen, mein Gastvater hat mir seine Bus-Karte gegeben. An der Metro-Station konnte ich meine eigene Bus und Metro Karte kaufen und dann mit der Metro nach Washington DC rein fahren. Als erstes hab ich das Kapitol besichtigt.

Second I went via the National Mall, where I relaxed a bit to the Washington Monument.

Danach bin ich über die National Mall, wo ich ein bisschen entspannt habe, zum Washington Monument gegangen.

At last I went to the White House.

Als letztes habe ich das Weiße Haus besucht.
