Wasserratten - sailing ship and Leberkäse

Vacation Part 2 begins. We have chosen a vacation rental and now enjoy unloading the remaining luggage from the servant, the saddlebags on the bike are empty, everything is neat. It's fun to keep moving with the bikes, but now for a week without packing, unpacking - we're looking forward to it too! Last night we made salad after a big shopping trip, this morning we had quark with muesli and black coffee in real cups.

At some point, you just want something 'real' again.

A Viennese Melange is nice, but a real coffee is black and in a big cup!

When we left, Mario forgot his wash bag at his mother's, so it meant a week without shaving... luckily, Dora's package with wash bag and freshly washed clothes had already arrived here and Mario is shaving off the fur from his face.

Today is arrival and rest day: cycling by the lake, swimming, reading, sleeping. Late lunch self-cooked.

In the evening, a little bike ride around the Knappteich and the Steinberg Lake and the surrounding area. There is really something going on at Steinberg Lake. There is the possibility to sail there - not really worth it with the mild breeze - but the people on about 15 sailing boats, who are currently on the water, are undeterred. There is also a water skiing facility, that is, several facilities where wakeboarders and water skiers are pulled in a circle on the lake on a steel cable. The professionals drive over obstacles, jump and drive one-handed on the course. For the beginners, there are short straight paths. Everyone has fun with it. In a restaurant right by the lake, they have Steckerlfisch today - unfortunately, you had to reserve, which we didn't, so we have to move on. We go around a bit more and spot a restaurant with a terrace slightly off the beaten path, where obviously there are fewer tourists and mostly locals as guests. A glorious, warm summer evening - there is also something to eat and drink, and we are very satisfied.
