On the next morning, we had breakfast. Unfortunately, Mattis didn't feel well. We went to one of the smaller pools in the wadi and swam there. Mattis rested.

The water was almost bathtub temperature. Flora jumped into the water from the cliffs. And again, we spoke with other Omanis who were all very nice and helpful.

Then we went to our next destination, the desert. On the way, we also saw examples of animal transportation of goats and camels done in a humane way. On the further way, Mattis got a fever, so we looked for a hotel.

2 minutes before arrival, we searched the internet for a hotel. We found an apartment with 4 beds and 2 bathrooms for €20. The pictures looked great. Comparable offers were over €100. Having learned from our experience in India, we went to the hotel to check it out. After Heike gave her approval after inspecting the room, we booked it on the website. A bit surprised by the price, he called his boss. It turned out that the boss had not set the settings on the website correctly and had entered €20 instead of €120.

We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights. It was really cozy and we also had a 'kitchen', see picture. The time there was really very good.
