We are awakened by the intense chirping of birds at Spice Village. I do another hour of Yoga. This time with a lot of meditative and breathing exercises. According to Vanessa, today is her first real vacation day, with lots of doing nothing and letting our senses recover. There is a large Ayurveda center here, and if you're going to do Ayurveda, it should probably be done in India. After breakfast, we have papaya every day, which we will miss at home. Then I take a tour of the hotel grounds and learn a lot of interesting things about plants, as well as the energy supply with photovoltaics and the water treatment system. They are rightly very proud of the eco-friendly label here. After that, we enjoy the peace and quiet by the pool, swim, and enjoy our treatments, which are a bit special but very relaxing. My massage included 15 minutes in a steam bath, and then I sat in a wooden tub for 15 minutes. Funny experience. After relaxing by the pool and in the room in the afternoon, we go for round two. A facial massage for me and a head massage for Vanessa. Also a special experience. In the evening, we visit the chef's cooking school again before stuffing ourselves at the fine buffet. The food in the South is a bit different but I still love all the Indian food. And Vanessa is doing very well too!!!
The relaxation day lived up to its name and was wonderful.
