Redtenbacher April 2023 2nd Day - Pießling Origin & Gleinkersee

After a short morning walk at 7:30 in drizzle, I briefly stalked Kurt and Paul from the hayloft (they weren't very impressed). The highlight of the vacation, as always, is breakfast. After that, we set off in the rain to the Pießling Origin (all mossy mill photos). Unfortunately, the access was closed due to a rockfall, and we only wandered around a little in the front area.

Next, we took a walk around Lake Gleinkersee. Meanwhile, we found out that the deepest point is generally at 24.5 m, but there is a karst funnel with a deepest point at 120 (!) m.

In this vacation, there is no obligatory Maci visit, but there is the same game with the Kemetmüller confectionery in Spital am Pyhrn. The stirred nougat cup is unbeatable. Unfortunately, it was gone faster than a photo could have been taken. 🙂

At around 1 pm, we were back home, and I took a long nap. At 6 pm, we had a cold dinner. Then, I had to solve the first smartphone problem - 'Wi-Fi is not displayed, reception is poor, messages do not appear' - so a typical case of 'Have you tried turning it off and on again?'. It didn't work, so I was almost at the end of my technical knowledge. However, it quickly turned out that there was a software update available. And bam, everything works again. Anyway, the reason for the story is actually that I need the background to explain the criminal photo. It was taken while his phone wasn't working, but Mom wanted to have the Wi-Fi password.
