Packed

The last three weeks have demanded a lot from us.

Firstly, the question: What do we take with us? What is really necessary and what can the children not do without for 16 months?

We decided on two 110-liter capacity travel bags from eaglecreek. We stored our clothes, toiletries, and travel first aid kit in them. We used an additional 90-liter hard-shell suitcase for all our technology, combined with travel blankets and towels. Each of us has their own backpack as hand luggage. This was also the benchmark for the children in terms of how much toys they can take - as much as can fit into their backpack. 😉

The other question that has occupied us is how to leave our apartment?

We were lucky to have found a subtenant who will move in with us for the first 12 months. This of course means that we have emptied the entire apartment.

It's astonishing how many boxes a life fits into. We packed 20 moving boxes in the past few weeks and stored them in the basement.

In the end, it will be a feat of strength to move back into our apartment. We can imagine that some things will be sorted out directly.
