Big wheels keep on turning

Today there is not much to tell, because today we have scrubbed a lot of kilometers 😄

From Santa Barbara we went about 90 miles south to Los Angeles, all the way through the city and then another 80 miles south to San Diego in the direction of the Mexican border.

It took us almost 9 hours in the end. This was not only due to the incredible traffic in Los Angeles, but also to a 1.5-hour lunch break before L.A.

For this we had chosen a small section of Malibu Beach. Here Maxi could finally unpack his swimming trunks and plunge into the waves of the Pacific 😎

On the drive we passed the villa districts of the West Coast.

The houses you see here are amazing and worth several million dollars for sure.

When we arrived in San Diego, it was already dark and unfortunately we didn't see much of the city.

But since this will be the longest stop on our road trip (3 nights), we will catch up on exploring in the next few days.
