Direction Carcassonne and beyond

We continue through various regions of France with different landscapes. Sometimes more beautiful, sometimes less. But always interesting.

In Carcassonne we visit the medieval fortress located on a hill in the old town, called Cité of Carcassonne, which is unique in Europe in terms of its size and state of preservation.

It is gigantic and very, very impressive to look at, and we would love to go back in time to the Middle Ages to be right in the middle of it.

We will sleep tonight in a small village near the community center, where there are 2 free parking spaces for the motorhome.
