The 2nd day in the jungle

We had planned a long hike to a waterfall, but wanted to do without a guide. That was absolutely reckless, and we promptly got lost. We had to cross the river or wade through it about 30 times, which was not so easy. And the path was partially very steep. When we didn't know how to continue and got lost, I started to panic. And when Martin fell into the river and his phone with him, things didn't look good. The phone gave up, so we couldn't have called for help. And he still has to deal with the pain. Otherwise, the path was really beautiful - so much untouched nature. That made it difficult to recognize the path. And we took a nice bath near the 1st waterfall. We were on the go for 6.5 hours and our strength, and therefore coordination, decreased more and more. We were so happy and relieved to arrive back at our lodge. The beer and cola we drank were the greatest pleasure. However, we were then plagued by pretty bad leg cramps. I had to deal with the fact that we had acted so unreasonably for even longer and imagined horror scenarios at night. But in the end, the gratitude was simply greater.
