Gold Coast | Week 7 | 13-19.11.23

I stayed in Byron Bay until Wednesday. Among other things, I hiked with a few friends to a lighthouse, from where I could watch manta rays and dolphins in the sea. The viewpoint is the easternmost point in Australia.

On Wednesday we went to the Gold Coast to Surfers Paradise. The climate here is much more tropical than in the south. In addition to days at the beach, I also applied for jobs and looked for an apartment. On Friday I got a job on a construction site.

On Saturday I got a room with a family in Miami. Two sons my age, their parents and another backpacker live here. On Sunday I spent the day at the beach, explored my new neighborhood and went to the HOTA (House of the Arts) where there is an art exhibition about Surfers Paradise.
