So now we're starting, all preparations have been made, the garage is packed.
Now it's time to say goodbye to the family and receive an emergency bag (Thanks, Mom)
So we were supposed to leave in the morning, but it was put into question due to Tascha and our little one's health condition. The departure was postponed from 4.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. when it was clear that they were getting better.
A quick stop at the gas station and the first time we fueled LPG.
But now let's hit the highway towards the south. The kids fell asleep shortly after the departure, which was an unusual peace for me. It went smoothly until Munich, but I guess I've never passed Munich without a traffic jam. As the kids and my wife started to get a bit cranky, we planned a longer break at the Austrian border, where a place right by the Inn river invited us to pause (Thanks, Christina, for showing us this place). Nala really needed this break.
Wet dog in the motorhome, it doesn't get any better......oh yeah, the day is starting to take shape. After the break, we continued past Niederndorf towards St. Johann. Then through Kitzbühl to
the Felbertauern Road through the Felbertauern Tunnel (or as Lotte says, 1.2.3. Tunnel) Shortly after the tunnel, we made it! Our parking spot after a long day and 563 km. Our overnight stay did not leave a deep hole in our holiday budget with a pleasant €5 and we were additionally rewarded with a truly dreamy panorama.
So, see you tomorrow
