Today, we took the first shuttle bus to the city center and took the number 5 bus to the Manoa Valley. From there, there is a footpath leading to the 50-meter-high Manoa Falls. The approximately one-hour walk takes you through a rainforest that lives up to its name. It rained heavily every half an hour and then the sun came out again. Just as we were finishing the hike, there was a heavy rain that immediately flooded the paths and streets. At the same time, you could see that it was clear and sunny down by the sea.
We then bought a few things, including Hawaiian beer that Maria even drinks, and flowers for our cabin.
After bringing the things back to the ship, we went to Ala Manoa Beach. This beach is right next to Waikiki and is mainly used by locals. It is a very beautiful, clean beach where you can swim in the sea.
