From Maui to Oahu, Day 12

In the morning, we finished off the last scraps for breakfast before heading to the airport. The check-in went smoothly this time. Everyone had luggage below the weight limit. Boarding started on time, but the departure was delayed by almost an hour. Our plane was simply parked next to a runway, with us on board. The journey to the accommodation was combined with some sightseeing and a fast food lunch. An almost uneventful travel day. A brief summary can be made regarding our provisions. As self-caterers, we are doing really well with our own shopping and cooking. Buying the right quantities for 6 people is not that easy. We can't take anything on the plane and we don't want to throw anything away. Especially not with these food prices here. You could say that everything is about 30% more expensive than back home. This also applies to restaurant visits. The prices between grocery chains can vary considerably.
