9. Day - the mountain pass

After our taxi picked us up on time this morning, we started again from the Kingshouse Hotel with sunglasses on our noses. After a few kilometers, it went steeply uphill. However, the hiking trail did not go all the way to the top of the mountain. Since the last two stages did not strain us so much, we took a detour to the top. The effort was worth it. The view was simply fantastic and indescribable in the superb weather. After that, it steadily went downhill. And then, after 4.5 hours, we finally arrived in the valley in Kinlochleven. The weather was great all day today.

Tomorrow will be our last stage. It is going to be challenging. About 25 km are on the agenda. But we are looking forward to it. The goal is Fort William, the largest city in the Western Highlands.
