It's been a while since I was in León, but I'll share the pictures now. Better late than never!
Since the family wanted to visit friends in the city, we all went there by car. Two uncomfortable and stressful hours later, we arrived and I had the opportunity to explore the city a bit.
It was a holiday, so almost everything was closed, but I still got a nice impression. I actually wanted to take the tourist train, but since it was so cold, I decided to walk instead and practically followed the Camino de Santiago from León to see the main buildings. I labeled them in the pictures!
In the late afternoon, we met again in a café (to the horror of my host mother, they didn't have sugar-free cocoa with soy milk) and that's where our friends joined us. A little later, our friends took us through the Christmas-lit city to the most popular bars in León to eat tapas (also called 'Pinchos' in the north). In one bar, we had 7 drinks each with tapas and it didn't even cost 7 euros!
At almost half past nine, we started the journey back home, during which both of them cried themselves to sleep after an argument about the tablet. The little one suddenly started screaming, deeply asleep, that she wants the tablet now and everyone is stupid because they didn't give it to her.
