Machu Picchu

We were not alone😂 but it was still a great experience! The day before, we took a taxi to Santa Theresa and then hiked to Hidroelectrica and Aguas Calientes. We were pleasantly surprised by the charming town (which is of course very touristy). We had a very nice afternoon and evening and the next day, after a good breakfast with amazing coffee😍, we hiked to Machu Picchu. We had tickets for 10:00 am and they sent us away 3 minutes before 10🙄 The site is much larger than I imagined and the people are well spread out! The return journey also went well, only my calves hurt today from all the stairs....
