Today, at 5 o'clock sharp, our 'Rooster' started crowing. He managed to do this for a whole hour. It was quite, well, annoying. When I wanted to film him in the afternoon, he was afraid of being grilled and ran away🤣
Nevertheless, we slept well. After falling asleep very early upon arrival and getting up early accordingly, we decided to stay awake tonight. No matter the cost. We have to overcome the jetlag🤣
We wanted to rent bikes at our hotel. Unfortunately, they were all broken. So we went on foot. By the way, the Caymans have left-hand traffic. This island belongs to England.
Right next door, there's a Vinoteca. We were amazed, they have wines from all over the world. Really great. And a lot of rum.
We bought chips, beer, and wine. Back at the hotel, we explored it first. We reserved two sunbeds at the children's pool. We had our own pool because no one was there. It's currently off-season. Good for us😊
We even have a bar in the pool. You can drink the drinks in the pool. That's really great.
On the way back, something rustled in the bush on the bridge. We almost didn't notice it. They were small iguanas. Beautiful, but very shy.
Later, we explored the beach. Beautiful, clear water. Many cruise ships dock on the island. A popular destination.
In the evening, we decided to get a kebab at 'A la Kebab', as the name suggests. The great thing about the island is that they prepare everything for takeout. Since we have a garden, that's really great. The kebab was more like flatbread with filling and probably Cayman style. But it was very tasty. Ryan took chicken and I took lamb.
The pool is open until 10 p.m. As it is so hot, we went swimming again for the grand finale 😊
