Wieder zurück in Picton

After Kaikoura, we slowly made our way back to Picton, where our ferry back to the North Island departed. Since it was raining for the next few days, there wasn't much to do anyway. Except for a short stop at Hammer Springs, where we had a quick spa day, we drove pretty directly back to Picton.

In Picton, we took a walk along a part of the Queen Charlotte Track before our ferry to Wellington on March 16th.

The ferry ride to Wellington (this time during the day) was very, very beautiful as it passed through the Malborough Sounds at the beginning. Unfortunately, Lena couldn't fully enjoy the ferry ride at the end as the rough sea made her a bit queasy.
