# Brazil 2018 Day 1

10/25/2018 The Arrival

Today we start our long-awaited vacation to Brazil. We both are traveling to Brazil for the first time. 🇧🇷 The excitement is even greater.

But first we have to get there 🤦

As always, we don't have a 'direct flight' (direct flights are also boring) :-) That means Robert takes us to Düsseldorf and from there we start to Paris. That worked out without any traffic jams. Rare at this time and Eurowings is unusually punctual. Hard to believe.

And now let the vacation begin.

If you think we are now flying from Paris to Rio, you are mistaken. As I said, we are flying 'again without a direct flight'. So from Paris to Zurich.

And from here we go to Frankfurt. But not before we have discussed extensively with a Lufthansa - Fuzzi (flight attendant) because our hand luggage is too heavy. He actually came along with a luggage scale. We then packed the heavy stuff in the backpack and the problem was solved. (The weight is still the same, but distributed to 2 pieces of luggage. You understand it if you want to.) We also have a delay because the plane waited for a travel group with tropical hats and zip-off pants.

That means running 🏃🏃 in Frankfurt and hoping that the suitcase will make it too. 🛄🛄

Well, now from Frankfurt to Rio🇧🇷✈️.... it works. What you wouldn't do for a cheap flight and to become a frequent traveler 🤦

We will give you the news when we have landed in Rio. Now it's time to get on the plane✈️. We will close our eyes on the plane to arrive well-rested in Brazil. 😊
