From Cortez to Monument Valley to Page

Today we woke up again at 6 am and after a quick breakfast we set off towards Monument Valley. Today we have to drive a long distance again.

Quite a lonely area here due to Indian reservations. Quite dangerous in a convertible because of the arrows. 🙈 But always amazing rock formations.

We only visit Monument Valley from the outside, as this is an Indian reservation and our Annual Pass is not valid here. You can't see much else in the park either. We continue to Page and Lake Powell.

Somehow we manage to avoid all the storms and arrive at Lake Powell in sunshine.

Today we inquired where you can rent kayaks because tomorrow we'll be on the water.🙄

They have weird license plates here. Nevertheless, we prefer to eat pizza🍕
