Take it easy for a while.

Today wasn't that busy. I dropped the girls off at school and then I had some free time.
So first I quickly did the laundry and then went back to sleep. This week really exhausted me. At some point, I felt like baking, so I made apple cinnamon muffins today. They were very delicious ^^

Then I took Cracker outside and sent my postcards. I also took a closer look at our garden. (Yes, the photo only shows a part of it).

In the evening, Jess and the kids came back from horseback riding and brought food. Genuine English fish and chips. Normally I don't really like fish, but I gave it a chance. And you know what? I found it really delicious. Although I still find the English habit of pouring mild vinegar over the fries quite unusual.

Also, I now have a task for the next 8 months!!! The owl is apparently the emblem of the Hendreds. According to Roger, there are not only the two that I have already found, but a total of 7. So I still need to find 5 more. Let's see where they are hiding ;)
