Day 3: Small city tour

After refreshing ourselves with fresh fruit at Hoan Kiem Lake, we explored the 'French Quarter', strolled through the streets with a French flair, and finally arrived at the Hanoi Opera House. After taking a few snapshots, we continued to the next sightseeing spot, the St. Joseph's Cathedral, which strongly resembles Notre Dame de Paris. Then we made our way to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to visit the huge park area and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. Exhausted from the long walk during the day, we wanted to have dinner nearby and got lucky. The 'Lantern Lounge' impressed us with delicious food and an idyllic atmosphere, so we sat on the restaurant's balcony until late at night and listened to street musicians.
