Day 85 - the sixth day in Rhodes / on the road with the quad

Hey everyone,

Today we started the day very leisurely and without an alarm clock :).

We had a relaxed breakfast, lounged around on the balcony for a bit, and then made our way to our quad bike around 12 o'clock.

We rode along the coast via Rodos until we reached Theologos.

First, we stumbled upon another empty building that we just had to explore :)). Interestingly, one entire room was still full of folders and papers. The most recent folder we quickly saw was from 2013. Only towards the end did we notice that there was even a dead cat lying in the middle.... In the main part, it appeared as if it had been abandoned relatively recently, with various machines and equipment still lying around.

Next, we went to the city of Rodos, which is located in the northern part of the island. We strolled around the old town for a bit and checked out a section of the old city wall.

We continued our journey, and when we started feeling hungry, we stopped at a cute restaurant. We had a club sandwich and pizza. The club sandwich was great! Unfortunately, the pizza was not so great....

We tried to find a boat that would take us to the Marine Park. Today we learned that there are tours to go there. On the dive boat we were on, they said that tours are no longer allowed to go there. It's a shame about this lie.... Because apparently, the park is rich in marine life, and you can even encounter dolphins underwater! Unfortunately, we only found out today that it is possible to go there, and tomorrow we can't go diving because of our return flight. We couldn't find anything for today...

We sat at the beach for a bit and were back at the hotel around 7 p.m.

But we really enjoyed the little tour around the island!

After dinner, we watched some TV and enjoyed our last night here in Rhodes.
