A trip to Lake Garda... wait what?

After being awakened by nature at 6:30 a.m., we left relatively early for the Arenal Volcano Observatory. 9 KM hike, doesn't Lina look forward to it? Well, at least 10 minutes out of the 4 hours. She won't admit it, but because the park was empty and we had the nature to ourselves, it was the silence, the variety of colors, and the volcanic area that were simply harmonious....

3 waterfalls, 2 suspension bridges, countless forest sections, and various animal shows later, we set off for Lake Arenal. It quickly became clear to us that this is like Lake Garda without German tourists reserving their sun loungers in functional clothing and complaining about the sun being too bright. Or something like that 😀

Fortunately, we have nothing to complain about here, deal with fun tax returns, or worry about the road traffic licensing regulations. We are enjoying our time here at Lake Garda, where even huge 200-year-old trees can fascinate.

Tomorrow will be wild, the accommodation in Monteverde is special. But nothing excites me more than sitting on the balcony above the clouds, sipping wine, and enjoying the sunset. The view is breathtaking. Let's hope there are no scorpions and snakes, Lina doesn't know about her luck yet. According to the message from the Airbnb host, they come cuddling to the house in the evening. It probably won't be so bad.
