District Jonction

To discover a different side of Geneva, a walk in the Jonction district, one of Geneva's eight main districts, is just the right thing to do. I was aware from the start that Geneva has many different facets. However, if you stay mainly in Geneva's old town and on the shores of Lake Geneva, you miss many other sides of Geneva. The Jonction district shows Geneva again as an ordinary big city in which there are many small stalls, restaurants and bars. Even if the very touristy part seems very tidy, there is also the not so tidy and well-kept part of Geneva. With many apartment buildings and huge residential complexes.
