Beautiful days in Paraty

After being invited to dinner on Thursday at Vania and Rolando's (our hosts in Sao Paulo), we took the bus to Paraty on Friday. The bus was very comfortable, but the journey, including breaks, took about 7 hours, which was quite long.

After seven hours, we finally arrived at the bus station in Paraty and walked to our hostel. This route took us through the beautiful old town for the first time. When we arrived at our hostel, we first settled into our room and then walked to a natural pier to experience the sea for the first time. There, we were even able to observe some fish and crabs. After that, we had an excellent burger with Brazilian live music. After this burger, we played two rounds at the hostel (Rémy won twice! - Rémy) (Close one! - Fabian) and then went to sleep.

This morning, we got up and had breakfast. There were sandwiches, bruschetta, and some kind of unrecognizable juice. Then, based on the recommendation of our receptionist, we decided to take a boat trip (aka Sunburn Cruise).

It was incredibly beautiful. We visited different places to swim, admire nature, and even saw some fish and a turtle. For lunch, we had delicious fish. Unfortunately, the trip also resulted in some sunburn (Fabian got it worse than Rémy (thanks to SPF 50 cream)).

Now we're back at the hostel and will go out for dinner later.
