On our way to the 17 Mile Drive, we stopped at the Chicken House. The first look already lived up to its name: fresh chicken halves rotating on a skewer over a crackling fire. Steffi therefore ordered half a chicken with mac and cheese. I ordered chicken, brisket, and pulled pork, with coleslaw and mac and cheese.
Both portions were very large. Steffi was very satisfied with her order. The chicken was also delicious for me. The brisket had already been sliced into very thin slices long before and soaked in a thin sauce. It didn't match my taste. The pulled pork also only partially satisfied my taste. However, I liked my sides.
Overall, a great place for people who like to eat delicious chicken. Pork and beef, on the other hand, are a matter of taste...
