Hello, here we are again!
After deciding to skip Chumpon (another harbor city? Nah..), we were able to cover a lot of kilometers towards the south in the last few days. That means taking the train from Bang Saphan directly to Surat Thani.
Surat Thani ... yeah ... it's a Southeast Asian metropolis where people simply live and work. The city is not of great tourist significance, except that it serves as a hub for overland travelers (to Koh Samui, Koh Phanghan, Koh Tao).
We are only staying one night here and taking a bus to Krabi from here (unfortunately, there are no trains because the tracks in this direction are not developed). Unfortunately, we initially arrived at the wrong bus terminal in Surat Thani ... the buses from there ONLY go to Bangkok ... Oh well - we wiped our mouths and continued to the right terminal (the TukTuk drivers were happy about that). :)
The bus ride, passing palm and rubber plantations, was very relaxed and beautiful. There were a bunch of soldiers inside who always fought over offering their seats to the elderly passengers (respect the age!!) - very exemplary.
Now we are enjoying the breathtaking nature around Krabi and will be in touch in the coming days. Peace and Love ❤️
