Hey lovelies! π«Άπ»
I'm currently sitting on my terrace and enjoying the sun. βοΈ Since it's a holiday, I thought I'd give you a little update. Not much has happened recently, which is why I haven't uploaded anything else yet. π
I am currently in the 4th semester of my journalism studies and not much happens during the semester. π So this time there will be a slightly shorter blog entry.
I was at home with my family over Easter. We spent a little time together, it was nice. We went out to eat together. π Back in Ansbach, I rolled out the carpet I had brought from home in our living room because we didn't have one there since another person in the shared flat moved out.
I've already told you a little about what's coming up for me this semester. By the way, my audio report about the hunt was on the radio! π€©π» The radio station I'm talking about is called Rabbit Radio and works with another station called Max.neo, which is based in Nuremberg. I just can't believe how quickly the semesters fly by. Half of the summer semester is already over. π³ I'm already looking forward to the practical semester in the fall at ProSieben. To experience something different, to get a taste of everyday working life and just have a change of scenery. At the moment I'm still looking for an apartment in Munich. It's not that easy to find something that's affordable. Feel free to get in touch with me if you have any idea where I could stay. π€ I'll sublet my room, of course, I want to come back. π
As with most of my blog entries, something happens every now and then in the shared apartment I live in. Who would have guessed... I don't even know if I've mentioned it before, but two young men are living with us now. π Another girl, the girl who originally comes from the Ivory Coast, will be moving out in May. It's always a shame when someone leaves, but most leave because they aren't mobile enough. π I can understand it, we live a bit outside of the city. Who will move back in is still up in the air. β¨ What I can say, though, is that since the boys have been moving here, there's been more life in the place, probably because they invite friends over more often and we sit together then.
I still really enjoy my job at the photo shop in the city. βΊοΈ Although I have to quit soon because I'm moving to Munich for six months, I can continue working there after my internship. I'm really grateful for that and I don't take it for granted that this is possible for me. ππ»
Speaking of work: A young man actually left his number for me recently and asked my boss if he could do that. I found this "move" really impressive, but I still didn't want to contact someone I might have served before and didn't really know. I couldn't remember who it could have been either. π€ I would be crazy if I remembered all the customers who walk into our office, but it was a sweet move. π«’
Another sweet thing happened to me just two days ago when I wanted to quickly go to the pharmacy in the shopping center next door after university, and someone spoke to me from behind. He said he noticed me and wanted to get to know me. I thought that was very brave, but I'm very busy with university right now and don't really feel like focusing on things that might take up my time. It sounds harsh, but I'm learning more and more how important my time is and how to make the best use of my free time. π
At the moment I'm also reading a book that talks about how attitude influences our lives. It's really exciting because it was written by a journalist/presenter. It contains good tips for my future professional life, but also for everyday life, and it helps when dealing with an audience or individuals.
Now a little preview: my mum is coming to visit me at the beginning of June. That will be nice. π₯° The university exams are over at the end of July and in August I will be preparing for my move. π
I've just noticed that I don't have that many pictures to show/upload this time. It's actually really strange for me, because I usually take so many photos and want to record them. π πΈ Well, soon there will be a bit more to see from my life. I think my time in Munich in particular will be very interesting and exciting. ππ€ͺ
See you then! ππ» π
