It is hard to put into words the great impression Mrs. Hermine Jinga-Roth left on us. The now 83-year-old is full of ideals and energy and has, with great perseverance, been able to improve the lives of families and the community in the village for generations. And her fight for equal opportunities continues. She is convinced and has shown through her project that education is once again the key to a more just society. She meets people where they are and offers her help on an equal footing, with respect and infinite joy. Her children's farm for Sinti and Roma children is at the same time a place of security, play and creativity, as well as a place of education and parenting counseling.
We thank Mrs. Jinga-Roth for her work, for her commitment and for this inspiring, open, honest and motivating conversation.
