Day 4 #Rhodes Town

Today's plan was to visit "Rhodes Town".

So, after a plentiful breakfast, we packed some drinks in our backpack and headed to the car.

We have been here last year as well, but I think it's always worth a visit. Driving through the streets of Rhodes Town is always an adventure, and after a long search, we were happy to finally find a parking spot right next to the city walls at the harbor.

To my great excitement, I saw the Aidablu ship in the harbor. I knew that it's on the route we actually wanted to take ourselves, but had to postpone due to Corona. It is a beautiful ship, and we are looking forward to being able to sail with it again someday.

So, we entered the city through the grand gate. We strolled through the alleys, bought some souvenirs, and enjoyed the beautiful weather at the harbor with a fantastic view of the sea.

Back at the car, we headed towards the hotel, passing by probably the smallest IKEA.

A friend who was on vacation nearby told us about a delicious little ice cream parlor, which we then searched for and found. "Gelato di Bello", definitely worth a visit 🍨💖

Back at the hotel, we spent some time by the pool until dinner. And then, like every evening, we sat at the bar with a delicious cocktail and reflected on the day.
