The first stage: Ötlingen to Heilbronn

Hello dear people,

The first part of our bike tour took us to Heilbronn. Here we are now comfortably sitting in the youth hostel and resting our legs.

After a distance of 87.4 km, we definitely earned it. We were on the road for about 6 hours, with the actual riding time being 4 hours and 46.5 minutes.

But enough of the numbers.

We started in Ötlingen and then rode to Esslingen via Köngen. From there, we followed the Neckar Valley Trail. We took some beautiful, shady bike paths away from the roads, and except for a short rain shower, we were really lucky with the weather.

Along the outskirts of Stuttgart and then heading north. Passing Ludwigsburg and Marbach am Neckar, all the way to Heilbronn. We took a little walk in the city center, had dinner, and stretched our legs. And tomorrow we will continue early in the morning!
