Salavas

We meet at the small square 'Le Clapas' in the small village of Salavas on the Ardeche river. Everyone arrives on Friday evening, and we set up camp and the mobile home. The joy of reunion is great! There is a lot to talk about and a few beers to drink. The days are relaxed and little Bela is a great holiday child (just like Theo :-) and sunshine, and he handles his first longer vacation with flying colors. We take some long walks to explore the area, laze on the beach, cook together, and sit comfortably in front of the mobile home in the evening. The planned and desired canoe trip unfortunately falls through because some physical complaints arise in all age groups. Whether it's a cold or a backache because someone wants to pull out a peg... Theo and Striz dare to go into the terribly cold river, and Rocky serves as a little therapy dog these days, helping to overcome fears.
