Day 12: Tulum

Today we woke up at seven o'clock and witnessed the arrival in Cozumel, an island in Mexico. At nine o'clock, our ferry started for our excursion. Today we went on a full tourist program. After about 45 minutes of travel, we continued by bus in Playa del Carmen. After another hour of bus ride, we arrived in Tulum at the Mayan ruins. Already during the trip, our tour guide provided us with a lot of interesting information about the Mayan culture. Once we arrived at this huge site, we explored the park with thousands of other tourists and were provided with the necessary information through headphones by our tour guide. After about one and a half hours, we returned to Playa del Carmen. And after a short break, we went back to the ship to have dinner. We made a reservation in one of the specialty restaurants. At Teppanyaki (see Google), we were positioned around the hotplate to experience the cooking show and also participate loudly. It was a very special experience. After that, the GLOW Party was scheduled. This was not quite my thing.
