We will stay for another day at the Heritage campsite near Merano.
Today, we will be adventurous and buy a bus ticket. Our destination is Merano, where we will do some sightseeing.
Let's go, the bus is coming, as expected in Italy, not on time, and we will continue to roast in the sun. Unlike in Germany, the bus stop doesn't have a small house, but is only marked by a sign. About 20 other tourists share our fate. So, we're going through with it. It's not that bad together.
The bus arrives and the driver confidently maneuvers through the narrow streets with Italian calmness.
Arriving in Merano, it was already so hot that we first oiled up properly. But it doesn't matter, let's go into the small streets and observe the hustle and bustle.
Of course, a little shopping couldn't be missed.
Afterwards, we refreshed ourselves in an Italian ice cream parlor run by Asians. If you order a Ramazzotti here, you get a Lamazzotti...! It still tasted good.
Then we took the bus back home because it was simply too hot. We went to the restaurant belonging to the campsite and treated ourselves to two huge burgers... typically Italian.
Since it wasn't going to get colder in Italy in the next few days, we abandoned the "Genoa plans" and thought about where to go next.
Conclusion:
Roasting together is cool!
Merano is an extremely charming city.
Lamazzotti tastes good.
Italian bus drivers have earplugs in their ears.
It's confusing when Asians speak fluent Italian.
I urgently need to go to the hairdresser.
A little child pointed out to me that I'm wearing gloves on my feet.
