Day 2

The morning brought a bit more sunshine 🌞 and so capsizing was on the program. After a short walk, we started right away. First, there was a brief review of the important knots and then the capsizing in theory and practice. Everyone achieved success, as capsizing, righting the dinghy, and climbing back in posed no difficulties, and with a record time of 1.53 min, it was also done very quickly. Before lunch, a bit of theory. Where does the wind come from? What course should we sail? How should the sails be set? After lunch, we put this into practice by sailing a figure-eight around the buoys, which was well internalized. It was another successful day with a lot of new knowledge.
