The first vacation in Swakopmund

After arriving here in Namibia, settling in for a week, and getting used to it a bit, we had school holidays. We thought we could use them to go to the beach. We rented a house in a large group and spent several days in Swakopmund. We went on trips to Cape Cross, visited a moon landscape, and did other cool things. It was very interesting to see some of nature and we really enjoyed it. Especially the transition from the desert to the sea and the city was very impressive. We walked from the city, over the beach, into the desert, which was really cool because the city directly transitions into the desert and then directly borders the sea.
