The morning sun slowly crawls over the mountain range. Finally, it's getting warmer again. I use the remaining contents of my mineral water bottle to make coffee with my Bialetti coffee maker. I burn my tongue with the hot espresso. To alleviate the pain, I put the leftovers from last night, a piece of cheese, some bread, and a slice of prosciutto in my mouth. The sanitary facility is, to put it mildly, terrible, and since there is only cold water, I settle for a cat wash and brushing my teeth. While the second portion of espresso is brewing, I pack my things back onto the motorcycle.

The CS 240 leads with 8 steep hairpin bends towards Ordino. But first, the Col de Montaupt and the Col de Ordino must be conquered. Soon after, the Spanish border (by the way, the only passport control on the entire route) is reached again and it becomes boring.
